En Sound Music Awards Winners Announced - Atlanta GA in 2011
The En Sound Music Awards & Conference kicked off on Friday, August 6 with much excitement and some awesome artists showcasing their God-given gifts of music including: Johnny Payne & TCO; Beatrice Ward & Angelic Voices; Hosia Hinds form Barbados; Delra Harris; Timothy from Jamaica; Camille Manns; The Showers Family Singers; the Triune Singer and others. The evening ended with a worship experience that was out of this world!
Saturday, August 7 was the Awards Ceremony and everyone was pumped and excited! As if the talents on Friday night wasn't enough, The En Sound Music Awards took it up several notches showcasing more awesome talents to the amazement of everyone in the audience! The En Sound Music Awards did not disappoint when it comes to great acts. Performers included Chozen (TX); Still Trill Christian (TX) Hosia Hinds (Barbados); Jack Yates (NV); Monica Lisa Stevenson (GA); Chiquita Green (PA); M.O.G. Showtime (MD); Cy (TX); Jumbo (Nigeria); Rada Botofasina (CA) Marjané (CA) and others. Trophies were handed out in 20 Categories (some were handed out on Friday night). Lisa McClendon and Richie Righteous were the big winners of the night receiving 4 and 3 trophies each. Lisa McClendon was also honored with En Sound's Achievement Award along with Aziz "Zee" Peregrino-Brimah and Bobby "Tre9" Herring of www.dasouth.com who received the Trailblazer award for their contribution to Christian hip hop. Our first "Best Music Video" category went to Delra Harris (GA). Delroy made it official that the En Sound Music Awards will be held in Atlanta, GA in 2011 and there was an uproar in the room! Before the night came to an end, worship broke out once again and the evening was so charged with the presence of the Lord...you could feel it all over the room!
Sunday August 8 was the celebration of En Sound Entertainment's 10th Anniversary...what can I say? There was such an anointing in the room, it ended up becoming a Church service with some serious praise and worship. Artists who performed on Sunday included Chiquita Green; Jimmy Lalla; Cora Russell; Timothy; Delra Harris; Janice Peterson and others. Words of encouragement was given to Delroy and some even spoke kindly of him. God was definitely in the building all three nights of the En Sound Music Awards and conference.
The En Sound Magazine Receives Raved Reviews
The En Sound print magazine made its official debut this past weekend at the En Sound Music Awards, and has since received rave reviews as one of the best publication in years to have launched in the Christian music industry, period! Those who purchased the magazine was totally impressed with the quality and content of this very first issue...only a sign of what is to come.
